Colts vs. Steelers 2014 picks and predictions: Indy expected to top Pittbsurgh

Nobody has been better than Andrew Luck this season, and the Steelers are the next team to try their hand at stopping him.

The Indianapolis Colts started the season 0-2, but since have been lighting the football world ablaze with five straight wins. On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers will attempt to halt their streak at Heinz Field with a potent offense led by Ben Roethlisberger, Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. The Steelers are on a short week after topping the Houston Texans on Monday night, improving to 4-3.

Indianapolis absolutely crushed the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, cruising to a 27-0 victory. The Colts have been vastly improved on defense despite the season-ending Achilles injury to Robert Mathis. Indianapolis ranks fourth and ninth against the run and pass respectively, with second-year man Bjoern Werner leading the way with four sacks.

Pittsburgh has a balanced attack with Bell amassing 599 rushing and 339 receiving yards. Brown is leading the NFL in receiving with 719 yards to go with five touchdowns, helping Roethlisberger unload the ball behind a shaky offensive line. Roethlisberger is having a great season, throwing for 1,858 yards and 10 scores against three interceptions.

Over at USA Today, all seven analysts believe the Colts will top the Steelers despite a tough road environment. The 13 experts at ESPN are mostly going with Indianapolis, save Adam Schefter and Seth Wickersham. The men at CBS Sports also see the Colts running their winning streak to six games, with the exception of Pete Prisco and Will Brinson.

Here at SB Nation, Stephen White is the lone wolf picking the Steelers to find a way. Of course, Mr. White is an ex-NFL player, so his opinion matters and stuff.
