Sunday Night Football features two teams heading in opposite directions as the Green Bay Packers taking on the New Orleans Saints. Green Bay has won its last four games, but New Orleans has traditionally been hard to defeat at home.
Packers vs. Saints 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
The Packers look to solidify their place among the NFC’s elite while the Saints try to keep their heads above water.

The last time the Packers appeared in primetime, they were slaughtered at the hands of the defending champion Seattle Seahawks. Since that time, they've lost only one game and played like the title contenders many pegged them as before the year. Aaron Rodgers has forced himself into the MVP discussion on the back of an incredible 15:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Just as importantly, his defense has finally shown up, keeping the Packers in games by forcing turnovers.
Meanwhile, the Saints have fallen far short of expectations. After an offseason that included signing All-Pro safety Jairus Byrd and extending record-setting tight end Jimmy Graham, New Orleans has managed just two wins. The team's most recent victory, a 37-31 win over the doormat Tampa Bay Buccaneers, required a comeback effort and score in overtime.
After stumbling through their first three games, the Packers have hit their stride over the past four. Rodgers has played as well as any player in the league, throwing 13 touchdowns against zero picks during that span. Meanwhile, receivers Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb have produced impressive numbers. Nelson leads the league in receiving yards (712), while Cobb has more receiving touchdowns than any other wideout (eight). Despite its early struggles, Green Bay's defense has given up an average of 17 points over the last four weeks, among the lowest figures in the NFL.
It’s also been an off year for Drew Brees. Though he’s completed nearly 68 percent of his passes, Brees has tossed seven interceptions against just 11 touchdowns. Also, in large part due to injury, Graham has struggled lately. Over his last four games, the All-Pro tight end has averaged just 44 yards per game. Meanwhile, the defense has allowed a staggering 27.5 points per game. The team’s only saving grace is that it plays in the worst division in football, the NFC South.
The Packers enter the game with a record of 5-2. The Saints come in at 2-4.
