The New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers meet on Sunday night, and find themselves in distinctly different positions. Green Bay is 5-2 and tied for the NFC North lead with the Detroit Lions, while New Orleans is 2-4 and facing a difficult schedule down the stretch. Fortunately for the Saints, they trail only the Carolina Panthers by one game in the wide-open NFC South.

Few matchups are better than Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees squaring off in the Superdome.

New Orleans was expected by most analysts to be a playoff team in 2014, but things haven't gone well. The Saints have been a disaster on defense, allowing at least 24 points in every game except their win over the Minnesota Vikings. However, the unit has been effective at home, with Junior Galette racking up 12 sacks during the last 10 home dates, and Cameron Jordan having eight sacks in the previous nine.
Drew Brees will have to be at his best on Sunday to compete with the high-octane attack of Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, and history suggests he will be. Brees has played Green Bay five times, and has eclipsed 300 yards and two touchdowns on each occasion, averaging over 380 yards. The Saints are also tough to beat in primetime down in the Big Easy, having won their past 13 such contests.
Few teams have been hotter than Green Bay, having won four straight in impressive fashion. The Packers trounced the Panthers and Vikings during that stretch while also earning close wins against the Jets and Dolphins. The points figure to keep coming, with Rodgers sporting an impressive indoor record.
Throughout his career, Rodgers has played in a dome 23 times, with 56 touchdowns and eight interceptions. The former Cal star has thrown 18 touchdowns and only tossed one pick, making him the first quarterback in history to begin a season with such a ratio.
