The Detroit Lions will have to wait at least another two weeks to get their star wide receiver back on the field. Calvin Johnson has been listed as inactive against the Atlanta Falcons, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Calvin Johnson inactive vs. Falcons with ankle sprain
The Detroit Lions will again be without wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who has been listed inactive for the team’s game in London on Sunday.

Johnson, who has not played since aggravating an ankle sprain against the Buffalo Bills in Week 5, was listed as questionable and was a game-time decision coming into Sunday. He was limited in practice through the week.
The Lions offense has struggled in Megatron’s absence. With his top target sidelined, Matthew Stafford mustered just 155 passing yards against the Vikings two weeks ago and was shut down for most of the game against a struggling New Orleans Saints secondary last Sunday. Golden Tate has helped pick up some of the slack, going for 17 receptions, 198 yards and a touchdown in those two games, but the offense just hasn’t been the same without Johnson.
Detroit gets a bye next week after a trip to play the Falcons in London on Sunday, giving Johnson extended rest and a good shot to return Nov. 9 against the Miami Dolphins.
