Jeremy Maclin and Patrick Peterson had to be examined for concussions after colliding on a play in the first half. Maclin was cleared for return, but Peterson’s is out after failing a concussion test.

Maclin was able to get up quickly from the play and leave the field. He was cleared to return late in the first half. Peterson was down for several moments while training staff examined him. Peterson failed the concussion test, according to the Fox broadcast, and was ruled out for the rest of the game.
On the play, Maclin caught a pass for eight yards before getting sandwiched between safety Deone Bucannon and Peterson. When Bucannon hit Maclin, the wideout appeared to knock heads with Peterson on the other side.
Trainers also reportedly checked Maclin for a bloody ear, according to the Fox broadcast.
Maclin left the game with six receptions for 81 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown that briefly gave the Eagles a 7-0 lead. He returned in the second quarter to record a 12-yard catch. Peterson had five tackles on the day before the injury.
