The New York Jets' season hasn't gone as planned. Since their Week 1 defeat of the still-winless Oakland Raiders, the Jets have dropped seven straight games, leading to a rather awkward press conference Monday by general manager John Idzik. Even stranger was the insane kickoff return that Rex Ryan pulled a day earlier against the Bills, when T.J. Graham "camouflaged" himself by lying down in the Jets' end zone.

Despite having new Jet Percy Harvin -- who has six return touchdowns in his career, including one in last year’s Super Bowl -- available to return kicks, Ryan opted for a trick play. After the game, Ryan explained his thought process, arguing, “With the way Percy was returning the ball, I thought everyone would attack him and not think about a throwback.”
Not quite. The Buffalo Bills sniffed Graham out, turning the trick play into bad field position and another embarrassing moment for a Jets team that has had plenty of them this season. Unlike the similar and more successful TCU camouflage play, the hiding New York returner was easily spotted due to his white helmet.
While Ryan can’t be blamed for trying something creative, nothing seems to be working for the Jets this year.
