Ravens vs. Steelers: Betting odds, preview, prediction for ‘Thursday Night Football’

Baltimore heads to Pittsburgh for another installment of this AFC North rivalry.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The last 20 games between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers have resulted in a 9-9-2 ATS stalemate between the two hated rivals. Both teams will try to take the upper hand in the series on Sunday night when the Steelers host the Ravens.

The line for this game has been set as a pick’em at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Pittsburgh’s home field advantage could give the Steelers a slight edge and make them the pick in this rivalry game despite the OddsShark Computersiding with the Ravens.

Ben Roethlisberger enjoyed a career day against the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday, passing for 522 yards and six touchdowns in a 51-34 win. Pittsburgh is 4-2 SU and ATS over its last six games and the offense has come to life with back-to-back efforts of scoring 30 points or more. This will be the Steelers' third straight game at home, where Pittsburgh is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in its last five games against divisional opponents.

OddsShark Computer Prediction: Baltimore 27.1, Pittsburgh 26.5

Pittsburgh hosts Baltimore at Heinz Field at 8:30pm ET on Sunday night.

Baltimore lost to the Cincinnati Bengals for the second time this season last week, narrowly edged out on the road by a score of 27-24. The Ravens are 5-1 SU and ATS in their six games against other teams this season, including a 26-6 win at home against Pittsburgh back in Week 2. Baltimore will be looking to break out of a slump in road games against divisional opponents with a 1-5 SU and ATS record in its last six games against AFC North rivals.

Sunday night’s total is set at 47.5 points at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The OVER is 2-0 in Baltimore’s last two home games and 4-0 in Pittsburgh’s last four home games, but 12 of the last 14 games between these two teams have played to under 45 points.

Baltimore’s 26-6 win over Pittsburgh earlier this season broke a streak of five straight games in this series being decided by a field goal or less. These two teams always play close against one another and this should be another great game. Look for Pittsburgh to edge out a win at home to get some revenge for its loss to the Ravens earlier this year.
