The Cincinnati Bengals will be without their starting running back against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Time will tell if they'll be missing their best wide receiver as well. Giovani Bernard has been ruled out and A.J. Green is listed as questionable, according to Around the NFL.
Giovani Bernard ruled out, A.J. Green questionable for Bengals
Bernard will sit out against Jacksonville, but Cincinnati is optimistic Green will return.

Bernard, who is nursing a hip pointer as well as a nagging shoulder issue, didn’t practice all week and will miss the first game of his two-year NFL career. Rookie Jeremy Hill will draw the start in his place. The second-rounder averaged just 2.5 yards on 10 carries last week against Baltimore, but should find the going a bit easier against a Jaguars defense allowing 115 rushing yards per game.
The outlook is better for Green, who practiced for a third straight day Friday. Green has missed the last three games with a toe injury but appears to be on the mend.
“If everything stays the way it is, he’ll play,” head coach Marvin Lewis told NFL.com.
The Jaguars have allowed 24 completions of at least 20 yards this season, opening the door for a big return from Green on Sunday.
