Texans vs. Cowboys 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule, radio and how to watch online

The Texans and Cowboys are both 3-1. Here’s how you can watch the Texas showdown.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys haven't had much of a rivalry over the years despite both trying to represent the state of Texas. That's because the two teams are often far apart in the standings, but both have surprisingly made it to 3-1 on the season, and Sunday's matchup could actually have deep significance.

Houston, holder of the worst record in the NFL a season ago, sits in first place in the AFC South. The Jacksonville Jaguars are winless, the Tennessee Titans are struggling and the Indianapolis Colts are a game back. Dallas, a team that has made a habit out of finishing 8-8, has come up just short of the NFC East in recent years. Now, they're on top in the division, tied with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Dallas has won its last three games after dropping the opener to the San Francisco 49ers, and is heavily favored over Houston. DeMarco Murray is playing exceptionally well for the Cowboys, and the Texans doesn't have a particularly strong rush defense. But the Texans do have some weapons on offense, and if Ryan Fitzpatrick can put the ball in their hands, anything can happen. With any Houston game, J.J. Watt could be a factor. He's scored offensive and defensive touchdowns this season and continues to be one of the most-impactful players in the NFL.
