St. Louis Rams running back Zac Stacy left Sunday afternoon's game against the Philadelphia Eagles with an apparent ankle injury. He is officially listed as doubtful to return. Chalk it up as one more tough break for a Rams team taking a beating from the Eagles.
Zac Stacy leaves game with ankle injury
Things aren’t going very well for the St. Louis Rams who have now lost their starting running back.

Stacy left the game in the third quarter, right after fumbling the ball on second-and-4. The Eagles scooped it up, and returned it for 40 yards. Philadelphia managed to convert the turnover to another touchdown on the ensuing drive. That was the third fumble by the Rams through three quarters.
The Rams had not used Stacy to carry the ball much through the game to that point. He left with 11 carries for just 42 yards. He was tied for the team lead with four receptions, and he had another 36 yards to go with that. He led the Rams in rushing attempts and yardage coming into this game.
No further information on his status was available at time of publication.
