Donald Brown left Sunday's game after taking a shot to the head against the New York Jets. There is no word yet from the San Diego Chargers on the severity of the injury.
Donald Brown leaves game vs. Jets with apparent head injury
Donald Brown went to the locker room with an apparent head injury Sunday, leaving a thin running back corps with even less depth.

Should Brown miss extended action, it would leave undrafted rookie Branden Oliver as the team's primary ball carrier. The Chargers were already missing Ryan Mathews and Danny Woodhead to injuries heading into the opening kickoff. San Diego also has the bruising Shaun Draughn on the depth chart.
Brown had just 26 yards on nine carries before leaving the game. He hasn’t particularly effective this season since being ushered into a starting role. Heading into Week 5, Brown had just 100 yards rushing on 50 carries this season.
Oliver had been playing reasonably well against the Jets in tandem with Brown. Approaching halftime, the rookie has 43 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries against an excellent defensive front. For this game at least, the Chargers may be able to weather the lack of depth at running back.
The Chargers lead the Jets 14-0 at half.
