After a big hit from Broncos defender Von Miller, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton headed back to the locker room to be evaluated for a possible concussion. He will not return to the game.
Drew Stanton out with concussion; Logan Thomas takes over
In for Carson Palmer, the Arizona Cardinals quarterback suffered the injury in the second half against the Broncos.

Stanton is replacing starting quarterback Carson Palmer as Palmer recovers from a nerve problem in his shoulder. He's won three straight games as a starter, including a 23-14 win last week over the 49ers in which he went 18 for 33 with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Rookie quarterback Logan Thomas (last seen at Virginia Tech) replaced Stanton. He was hit twice on his first possession - by Von Miller. Thomas bounced back on the next possession, fitting a ball into a tight window and hitting Andre Ellington in stride for an 81-yard touchdown pass.
The Cardinals do not have an emergency quarterback -- Carson Palmer is still nursing an injury and Stanton was the second quarterback.
