Broncos vs. Jets 2014 picks and predictions: Denver expected to roll
Broncos are a unanimous pick by nearly every expert to beat the Jets on the road Sunday afternoon.

Broncos vs. Jets
If there is one game on the Week 6 schedule that looks like a guaranteed blowout, it might be the matchup between the Denver Broncos (3-1) and New York Jets (1-4) at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Broncos are on track for another Super Bowl appearance while the Jets have won just one game this season and are a complete mess.
Peyton Manning made history last week, becoming the second player ever with 500 career touchdown passes, and is now six scores shy of passing Brett Favre for the all-time mark (508). Only the Philadelphia Eagles have allowed more touchdown passes than the Jets this season, so there is a chance that Manning could have another record-breaking performance on Sunday. The other key storyline for the Broncos heading into this game is the absence of running back Montee Ball, who suffered a groin injury on Sunday and is expected to miss three weeks. Ronnie Hillman, who tied a career high with 15 rushes last week, is expected to get most of the carries in Week 6.
The Jets are coming off a 31-0 debacle against the San Diego Chargers and enter this game on a four-game losing streak, the longest under Rex Ryan. The head coach put himself on the firing line on Tuesday, saying he expects to lose his job if the season doesn't get turned around. The Jets are a virtual dumpster fire and the biggest concern for the team has to be their awful play under center. Quarterbacks Geno Smith and Michael Vick have combined for the lowest Total QBR in the league (21.9) and the fewest passing yards per game (184.0), and neither appears capable of leading this offense on (or off) the field.
The Broncos are a unanimous pick to go on the road and beat the Jets, according to our expert panel here at SB Nation and the analysts at both CBS Sports and Yahoo! Sports.
