Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green is not expected to play Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Green met with a foot doctor on Thursday who advised him not to play this weekend. The long-term prognosis for Green is still unknown, but it is the same injury to the bottom of his foot that caused him to miss most of Week 2's game vs. the Atlanta Falcons.
A.J. Green unlikely to play against Panthers
The Bengals will likely be without their star wide receiver against the Panthers on Sunday.

Green was carted off the practice field on Wednesday after aggravating the injury. He was able to walk on his own, but with a limp, and then left the field after trainers examined him.
Green has caught 17 passes for a team-high 314 yards and two touchdowns this season. The Bengals’ receiving corps was already depleted before Green’s injury, as tight end Tyler Eifert and wideout Marvin Jones have both missed every game.
Without Green, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu figures to become the featured wideout. The Bengals will also likely rely more often on their dynamic running back duo of Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill, who have combined for 380 yards rushing and five touchdowns this season.
