If the experts are correct, the Kansas City Chiefs (4-3) should roll to an easy victory over the New York Jets (1-7). The Chiefs are a unanimous pick to win the game by all of the experts at SB Nation, CBS Sports and ESPN.
Jets vs. Chiefs 2014 picks and predictions: Kansas City favored heavily
The Chiefs are a unanimous pick to beat the struggling Jets on Sunday afternoon.

The consensus pick by the experts should be no surprise in a matchup that features two teams headed in opposite directions. The Jets are a virtual dumpster fire, having lost seven straight games since a Week 1 win over the winless Oakland Raiders. The team has not lost eight games in a row since a franchise-record 12-game slide spanning the 1995-96 seasons.
Veteran Michael Vick gets the start at quarterback on Sunday, replacing the struggling Geno Smith, who has the league's worst passer rating (66.2) since his debut last season. Although Vick might be an upgrade under center, he likely won't solve the team's turnover problems. He had four fumbles (lost two) and threw an interception in last week's loss against the Buffalo Bills.
The Chiefs have won four of their last five games after an 0-2 start, and have climbed back into the playoff hunt with a 4-3 record entering the mid-point of the season. Kansas City doesn’t have a flashy offensive scheme, but still is averaging a respectable 25 points per game thanks to a dominant rushing attack.
The Chiefs rank third in the NFL in rush yards per game (140.3) and only three teams average more carries than KC (31.3). Another key part of their ball-control offense is their ability to move the chains. Kansas City is one of four teams this season with a third-down conversion rate of over 50 percent, although that success is more due to an efficient passing game that has converted a league-high 42.3 percent of its attempts into first downs.
