Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler made news on Sunday, and not because of his on-field performance. The third-year pro out of Arizona State was getting ready to replace Peyton Manning in Sunday's 41-17 blowout win over the Oakland Raiders before turning to see Manning running onto the field.
Broncos QB Brock Osweiler laughs off viral infamy
The Broncos’ backup quarterback has become a bit more famous in the last few days because of a hilarious Vine.

The moment led to Vine hilarity, something Osweiler will have to live down for quite some time. Osweiler ended up getting into the game, completing 2 of 5 passes for 13 yards in the fourth quarter.
On Monday, Osweiler showed that he can laugh at himself while telling the world there is no issue with him and any Broncos teammates or coaches, per Arnie Stapleton of the Associated Press:
“It’s a good laugh now,” Osweiler said Monday. “There was just a little miscommunication: Am I going in? Am I not going in? But, no there’s absolutely no hard feelings or anything like that. We’re all just having a good laugh. It’s funny that it got caught on tape.”
For his part, Broncos head coach John Fox tried to explain what happened:
“That was really on me,” Fox said. “What happened was we were contemplating it. There were 40 seconds left in the third quarter. I heard something about him warming up and in my brain I didn’t think Brock was warmed up yet. I said, ‘Let Peyton finish this off and then we’ll bring him out.’”
Little did Fox know it would lead to a moment everyone, including Osweiler, could get a chuckle out of:
