Between injury concerns and the Carolina Panthers losing season, Cam Newton is having a season to forget. And when pressed on whether or not he was playing through lingering injuries, the Panthers star finally admitted he wasn't exactly feeling his best lately.
Cam Newton admits he’s playing hurt
The only question is how injured? Maybe this chart can help.

In a media session on Wednesday, Newton admitted that he’s “not playing great ball” and that injuries are involved, per Pro Football Talk:
"Hurt is hurt. If you're asking me, am I hurt right now? Yeah, I'm hurt. I haven't, you know, felt 100 percent in a long time," Newton told reporters today. "You ask me a question, is Cam Newton hurt? Yes, I'm hurt. And that's all honesty. But can I play? Yes, I can play and I will be playing. It's mind over matter."
Newton has thrown an interception in six straight games, including three on Monday Night Football in a blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Newton has thrown 10 touchdowns against eight interceptions on the season, and is currently at a career low quarterback rating of 80.1.
It doesn’t help that the Panthers have completely restocked their wide receiving corps and shuffled the offensive line after multiple injuries and substantial personnel losses in the offseason at both positions. Given Newton’s injuries, it’s no surprise that the former number one pick has faced more adversity this season than perhaps any other season so far.
Then again, PFT Commenter has the perfect resource for Cam if he can’t quite figure out just how injured he is.
