Jadeveon Clowney says he's not quite 100 percent yet, but he expects to be on the field Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Jadeveon Clowney expects to play, Dolphins players reportedly miffed at OC
Clowney thinks his knee is ready for the Browns, a report claims Bill Lazor has a “rocky” relationship with his Miami players and one of the biggest names in the 2015 head coach market may be off the table.

"I feel a lot more confident in my knee," the Houston Texans defender told John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. "I feel like I can do a lot more than I did when I came back for the Tennessee game."
It would be just the third game the star rookie has played all season. The Week 8 game against the Tennessee Titans marked his first action since tearing his meniscus in the season opener, but lingering soreness kept him out against the Philadelphia Eagles the next week. Given extra rest thanks to a Week 10 bye, Clowney said the soreness has improved.
“It’s not 100 percent, but it’s getting better,” he said. “I want to get back out there and help my teammates.”
Jennings will be limited in return
Temper your expectations, Rashad Jennings fantasy owners. New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said the running back, who is making his return this Sunday after four weeks sidelined with a knee injury, will be eased back into the offense.
“I don’t intend for him to carry a full load,” Coughlin told Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
With that said, Coughlin could be tempted to lean on Jennings if he's successful early against the San Francisco 49ers. Rookie replacement Andre Williams has averaged just 2.75 yards per carry as the starter and the Giants have lost all four of those games. Jennings is averaging 4.4 yards per carry this season, though he went over 64 yards rushing in just one of his first five outings.
Dolphins OC has "rocky" relationship with players
What do you know, more drama in the Miami Dolphins locker room. A report by NFL Media’s Jeff Darlington claims that players are being rubbed the wrong way by offensive coordinator Bill Lazor.
“During involved conversations with four players (and text exchanges with multiple others), all parties made it clear that Lazor’s relationship with the players is currently rocky,” Darlington reported. “His abrasive tenor with several starters has worn thin on some, and an inconsistent identity on offense is internally magnifying the issue.”
Darlington didn't name names, but it wouldn't be a surprise if wide receiver Mike Wallace was one of the lead detractors. Wallace, who is being used as an intermediate weapon instead of the deep threat that made him a star in Pittsburgh, has publicly criticized the offense multiple times, including after Miami's 20-16 loss last week against the Detroit Lions.
Cardinals extend DC Bowles
The Arizona Cardinals are getting along much better with their assistants. Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles confirmed Thursday that he has agreed to a three-year contract extension. A league source claimed the deal makes him one of the five highest-paid assistant coaches in the league.
The move is significant not only for a Cardinals defense that has seen major improvements since Bowles’s arrival in 2013, but for the coaching carousel this offseason. Bowles is expected to be a heavily sought candidate for a head coaching job, and while his new deal with Arizona doesn’t mean he won’t leave anyway, it presumably lessens that chance.
