Marshawn Lynch isn't a fan of speaking with the media, but if he continues to choose to avoid providing postgame comments, it could cost him $100,000. According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, that's amount that the NFL is threatening to charge Lynch for if the Seattle Seahawks running back doesn't speak with the media following the team's game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Marshawn Lynch threatened with $100,000 fine
If Marshawn Lynch doesn’t speak to reporters after a game against the Chiefs on Sunday, it could result in a hefty fine.

The size of the fine is eye-opening, but not all that shocking after the NFL threatened Lynch in 2013 with a fine of that exact amount as a potential future punishment. The league rescinded a $50,000 fine for Lynch for his aversion to the media, but warned that future refusals to speak to reporters could result in a reinstatement of the penalty, in addition to another $50,000.
Lynch, 28, drew some attention before the Super Bowl in February as rumors swirled that the four-time Pro Bowl running back would pass on participating in Media Day. He did show up and did avoid punishment, but provided reporters with the bare minimum to fulfill his obligation.
Through nine games, Lynch has an NFL-best nine rushing touchdowns as well as three receiving touchdowns and 689 yards rushing.
