Two teams heading in opposite directions will square off in Week 9 when the Kansas City Chiefs play host to the New York Jets. Following an 0-2 start to their season, the Chiefs have won four of their past fives games to climb to 4-3 and right into the thick of the AFC playoff picture.
Jets vs. Chiefs 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
The Chiefs will attempt to continue their strong play while the Jets hope to reverse their fortunes.

As for the Jets, they've lost seven straight games following their Week 1 win over the still-winless Oakland Raiders. Needless to say, the Jets are one of the worst teams in the NFL, and they'll attempt to get their first win in nearly two months when they face the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs are once again led by their strong run game and a dominant defense that thrives off rushing the passer. Running backs Knile Davis and Jamaal Charles have combined for 764 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while catching 24 passes for 151 yards and two scores. Outside linebacker Justin Houston leads the NFL with 10 sacks.
Kansas City ranks No. 1 in passing defense while allowing just 195.7 pass yards per game, and it probably won't face much of a challenge against the league's worst passing offense. The Jets will be starting a new quarterback this week when Michael Vick makes his first start as New York's quarterback. He replaces the ineffective Geno Smith, who tossed three interceptions in a 43-23 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 8 before getting benched. Vick wasn't much better in relief, turning the ball over three times as well, but he did lead the team in rushing with 69 yards.
