A 2-1 start for the Chicago Bears has quickly gone sour, with the team now 3-5 and head coach Marc Trestman in danger of being replaced, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Trestman’s lack of leadership could cost him his job as head coach of the Chicago Bears.

La Confora cited Trestman's "lack of leadership" as the reason for the coach's unfavorable position within the organization. That report comes shortly after an incident in the locker room that reportedly featured wide receiver Brandon Marshall yelling at teammates. One week later, the Bears fell 51-23 to the New England Patriots.
This is only Trestman’s second year in Chicago after he took over for Lovie Smith in 2013. Trestman previously coached the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes for five seasons and was a quarterbacks coach for seven different NFL teams between 1987 and 2003.
With a bye week this Sunday, the Bears won't return to action until they travel to face the Green Bay Packers in Week 10. The Packers beat the Bears in Week 4, 38-17.
