The Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders have combined for some of the best rivalry games in NFL history over the years, but those days are a long ways back. The Raiders are perpetually struggling, while the Chiefs have inserted themselves firmly into the playoff picture after skirting around the "worst team in the league" label just a few seasons ago.

The Kansas City Chiefs will be favored to take down the Oakland Raiders on Thursday. Here’s how you can watch.

Oakland, meanwhile, currently has a strong grip on that title. The Raiders are 0-10 on the season, firmly entrenched as the worst team in the league and years from talking about potentially competing against their rivals in the AFC West. That doesn’t mean they can’t make the individual games competitive -- Oakland has ruined plenty of teams’ plans in recent years -- but they’ve been outscored by a margin of 265-152 this season. It’s been a disaster any way you look at it.
The Raiders rank 25th in passing yardage, 32nd in rushing yardage and 27th in rushing yards allowed. The only respectable stat is the 235.4 passing yards they allow per game, which makes them No. 12 in the league.
Kansas City, on the other hand, has been excellent in a few key areas. First, the Chiefs are even better against the pass, as they rank atop the whole league in that category. Second, they rush for 141.2 yards per game, which is good for fourth overall. The Chiefs are 7-3, currently tied for first place in the division, and should be favored to down the Raiders on Thursday Night Football.
