Not that this should come as any surprise, but the experts have the Indianapolis Colts over the Jacksonville Jaguars in a clean sweep heading into Week 12.
NFL picks and predictions, Jaguars vs. Colts 2014: Indy a unanimous favorite
The Colts are expected to roll.
All 27 members of the major NFL pick ‘em panels, including ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS Sports and our very own SB Nation crew, are going with Indy at home. That’s hardly shocking considering the depths of the 1-9 Jaguars’ ineptitude this season. The average margin of defeat in their losses is 15.8 and all but one has been by double digits.
You can at least take refuge, Jaguars fans, in the fact that four of CBS’ eight experts are picking you to cover the massive 14.5-point spread. Relish the little things ...
Of course, the Colts have been on the wrong end of some blowouts themselves in the last few games. They got dropped, 51-34, in Pittsburgh in Week 8 then were throttled, 42-20, at home by New England last week (coming out of a bye, no less). Still, Andrew Luck is lighting it up, T.Y. Hilton has come into his own and well ... it's the Jags.
Here’s SB Nation’s rather repetitive pick chart, just for kicks.
