Round 2 of one of the NFL's oldest rivalries continues this week when the New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Sitting at 3-7 and in last place in the NFC East, the Giants are trying to pick up a win and derail arguably their biggest rival's playoff hopes. The 7-3 Cowboys are tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for first place in the NFC East.
Cowboys vs. Giants 2014 picks and predictions: Dallas looks to sweep fading G-Men
The Giants and Cowboys will throw down on Sunday night.

New York will also try to halt Dallas’ recent dominance in this series. Dallas has won three straight against New York, but these games tend to be competitive and come down to the fourth quarter.
That was the case when they faced off in Week 7. After the Giants jumped out to a 14-7 lead in Dallas, the Cowboys scored 21 unanswered points and held off the Giants late in the game for a 31-21 win. Tony Romo threw for 279 yards and three scores, and DeMarco Murray ran for 128 yards and a touchdown. Eli Manning threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns. The G-Men pulled to within one score twice in the fourth quarter, but never could catch Dallas once it went ahead in the second half.
So, what are the so-called experts saying about this game?
The CBS sports panel mostly went with the Cowboys, seven of eight taking Dallas, and senior NFL columnist Pete Prisco seems to believe this will be a close game, picking Dallas to win in a narrow 33-28 bout:
The Cowboys are coming off a bye, which they needed because of Tony Romo's back. The Giants have lost four consecutive games. Their playoff shot is almost done, and would be with a loss here. Tony Romo looks healthy again here with a big day.
The entire SB Nation staff mostly agreed on one team. All but two picked the Cowboys:
