As far as actual real playoff implications goes, the Thursday Night Football game between the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs actually wound up being relevant. That's because the Raiders, winless up until then, took down the Chiefs, who are currently fighting for the top spot in the AFC West. It wasn't a great game by any means, but Oakland picking up its first win of the season is as good a way to kick off Week 12 as any.

The Seattle Seahawks will try and gain some ground in the NFC West when they take on the Arizona Cardinals, while the Detroit Lions will try and halt New England’s surging offense Sunday in Week 12.
Most teams have now taken their bye weeks, and there was originally a full slate of 13 games scheduled for Sunday. One of those games, the tilt between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, was postponed due to the weather and has since been moved to Monday in Detroit. So there will be just 12 games to watch Sunday, but there promises to be plenty of action.
Headlining the morning slate of games is the game between the Detroit Lions and New England Patriots. Detroit is 7-3 and coming off a loss to the Arizona Cardinals, while the Patriots are 8-2 and hitting their stride. The next-best morning game is probably the matchup between the 6-2-1 Cincinnati Bengals and the 5-5 Houston Texans.
The afternoon features two huge games though, with serious playoff implications. The first is the game between the 7-3 Denver Broncos and the 6-4 Miami Dolphins, and the second is the NFC West rivalry game between the 6-4 Seattle Seahawks and the aforementioned 9-1 Cardinals. Arizona owns the best record in the NFL, but Seattle is excellent at home, so it should be a good one.
Sunday Night Football will feature a game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. It's a big NFC East game, though the Giants aren't really a factor at this point.
