The Cincinnati Bengals will have Giovani Bernard back in action against the Houston Texans Sunday for the first time since the running back suffered a hip injury in Week 8, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Giovani Bernard will play vs. Texans
Giovani Bernard has been sidelined for nearly a month with a hip injury suffered in Week 8.

Bernard, 23, left in the fourth quarter of a win over the Baltimore Ravens in October for what was later diagnosed as a hip pointer. Couple that with a shoulder injury and the 2013 second-round pick has watched from the sideline for nearly a month.
The Bengals have instead had to rely on the contributions of rookie Jeremy Hill, who did well in Bernard's absence. While Hill was held to 55 yards rushing by the Cleveland Browns, he eclipsed 150 yards in wins against both the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New Orleans Saints.
Bernard was limited in practice Wednesday, but was a full participant Thursday and Friday and listed as probable. In the first seven games of the year, Bernard tallied 446 rushing yards and five touchdowns, as well as 22 receptions for 179 receiving yards.
