49ers GM Trent Baalke’s daughter isn’t happy with Greg Roman

Things are not great in San Francisco right now. Don’t believe me? Ask family members of the 49ers’ front office.

The San Francisco 49ers were expected to make another Super Bowl run. Instead, they are teetering on the brink of missing the playoffs entirely with a 7-5 record after losing to the Seattle Seahawks on Thanksgiving. After the disastrous loss, Cassie Baalke, daughter of 49ers general manager Trent Baalke, let her opinion be known on offensive coordinator Greg Roman, per 49ersNews.com.

Baalke is not making her father’s job any easier by publicly asking for an ousting of the offensive coordinator, although she may get her wish. San Francisco has been in turmoil all season when it comes to coaching, with rumors flying around about a rift between Jim Harbaugh and the organization.

Roman is in the cross-hairs with an offense that has been pedestrian at best this season. The unit ranks 23rd in the league after ranking 24th in 2013. More worrisome, Colin Kaepernick is now regressing after signing a massive $126 million contract this offseason. Kaepernick has completed 61.2 percent of his passes with 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
