The Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants meet on Monday night, with both having ample motivation. Indianapolis was blown out by the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, allowing 51 points after shutting out the Cincinnati Bengals a week prior. New York sits 3-4 following a two-game skid and desperately needs to right the ship before becoming irrelevant in the brutal NFC.
Colts vs. Giants 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
Andrew Luck will stare down the Giants in primetime, attempting to get back on track after a blowout loss in Week 8.

The Colts are heavily reliant on Andrew Luck and his receivers. Luck has been the superstar he was expected to be when taken out of Stanford with the 2012 top pick. In his third season, Luck has thrown for a league-leading 2,731 yards, with 866 going to T.Y. Hilton. Hilton has become the Colts' top receiver and paces the NFL in receiving yardage, supplanting Reggie Wayne as Indy's primary target. Luck's only downfall is a pension for interceptions, tossing nine.
For the Giants, there is no obvious strength. With leading receiver Victor Cruz out for the season, New York is leaning on rookie Odell Beckham Jr. and tight end Larry Donnell. The running game is solid, albeit not overpowering, led by Rashad Jennings and Andre Williams. Jennings has 396 yards in five games, but has struggled with a MCL sprain and won't be available Monday. The defense is a work in progress, checking in at 27th with 384.4 yards allowed per game.
Although the Giants have ground to make up in the NFC East, there may be an opening. Dallas quarterback Tony Romo is hobbled by a back injury and Brandon Weeden looked terrible in relief on Sunday. Philadelphia’s Nick Foles broke his collarbone and will likely miss a few weeks, moving Mark Sanchez into the starting role. A win on Monday would be a solid step in the right direction and get New York back in the race.
