Giants vs. Jaguars 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars are well out of the playoff discussion, but both teams will be trying to win Sunday.

Neither the New York Giants nor the Jacksonville Jaguars are in the playoff discussion at this point, but both insist they're still aiming for wins and progress this season. New York is 3-8, and has dropped its last six games, though it's worth noting all six of those games were against some of the best teams in the league. They fell to the Dallas Cowboys twice, the San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks.

While they kept a couple of those games close, a loss is still a loss, and they're well out of the discussion for the NFC East and a playoff berth in general. The Philadelphia Eagles are atop the division with nine wins.

The Jaguars never came close to being in playoff discussions this season. They lost their first six games of the season before upsetting the Cleveland Browns in Week 7. Since then, it's been another four losses, as they're tied with the Oakland Raiders for the worst record in the league. They rank 27th, 23rd, 27th and 28th in pass offense, run offense, pass defense and run defense, respectively.

New York actually does well in the passing game, with 249.6 passing yards per game on average, good for 11th in the league. That said, Eli Manning has been prone to turnovers this season, though the Jaguars aren't necessarily great at taking advantage of something like that. Offensively, the Jaguars are just hoping to see more progression from rookie first-round pick quarterback Blake Bortles, who has eight touchdowns to 15 interceptions this season.
