The New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers are among the NFL's best teams, and both are atop their respective divisions. It's a much closer race in the NFC North than it is in the AFC East, however. The Packers are trying to hold off the Detroit Lions, who are 8-4 and can move into a tie for first place if the 8-3 Packers fail to beat the Patriots Sunday. Detroit bested the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving to create the tie opportunity.
Patriots vs. Packers 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
The New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers will face off in Week 13’s biggest game on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Patriots are 9-2, tied for the best record in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals and holding a solid lead in their division. The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills are both stronger teams than anybody realized at the start of the season, but at 6-5, their hopes of unseating the Patriots are fading fast. Still, while the Packers may need this win more, the Patriots have won their last seven games and will not be looking to let up anytime soon.
New England ranks sixth in the league with 272.5 passing yards per game, though Tom Brady also has a fairly decent running game to depend on. The Patriots rush for 113.4 yards per game, good for 15th in the league, and that running game might actually be the focal point of the offense on Sunday.
That’s because the Packers -- who are good at throwing the ball, decent at running the ball and solid at defending the pass -- are terrible at stopping the run. Green Bay’s defense allows 136.7 rushing yards per game on average, which puts them at No. 30 in the league. New England may be winning games with Brady’s arm and a strong-performing secondary, but the game on Sunday could come down to whether the Patriots can run the football.
