NFL scores and results: Packers beat Patriots in potential Super Bowl preview

Tom Brady vs. Aaron Rodgers was the highlight of Week 13.

In a potential preview of the Super Bowl, Green Bay held on to beat the Patriots at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

The highlight of Week 13’s action was the Patriots’ trip to Green Bay to play the Packers, a matchup between what are widely considered to be the two best teams in the league. Both teams had been absolutely cruising as of late -- the Pats had won an NFL-best seven straight (including consecutive wins over Denver, Indianapolis and Detroit), while the Packers had won seven of their last eight (including wins over Miami and Philadelphia). Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are vying for the MVP trophy, but on Sunday, Rodgers and the Packers got the win.

That wasn’t the only good game on, though. The Browns and Bills faced off in a game with surprising playoff implications, with the Bills beating the Browns at home, getting a much-needed win to pull back into the wild card race. Speaking of the AFC wild card, the Chargers won a crazy game in Baltimore to stay alive in the playoff hunt.

The NFC South had a surprising day, as both the Falcons and Saints pulled off upset wins (over the Cardinals and Steelers). And the Broncos beat the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football to maintain their lead in the AFC West.

Below is the list of Sunday’s games. Check back throughout the day for updated scores and results.
