The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have a new starting quarterback for their Week 10 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Mike Glennon announced on his WDAE 620 AM/95.3 FM radio show that he had been told Josh McCown will start on Sunday. The move comes as no surprise, since coach Lovie Smith had hinted at a change under center earlier this week.
Buccaneers bench Mike Glennon in favor of Josh McCown
The Buccaneers will go back to Josh McCown as their starting quarterback in Week 10 against the Falcons.

McCown started the first three games before suffering a hand injury in Week 3 during a loss to the Falcons. Glennon took over as the starter the following week, leading the team to its first win of the season, but has been largely unproductive during the Bucs’ latest four-game slide.
McCown had completed 63 percent of his passes for 420 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions in three games before being injured. Glennon has not performed much better this season in six games, ranking 25th in the league in passer rating (83.3) and 31st in completion percentage (57.6 percent). He has thrown a pick in five straight games and has been mostly underwhelming for Tampa Bay this season.
The 35-year-old McCown signed a two-year, $10 million deal this offseason. Glennon, 24, is in his second season after being drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
