Chiefs vs. Bills 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The Bills and Chiefs aren’t out of their divisional races, but a matchup on Sunday could have a huge impact on the AFC wild card race.

Al Bello

Both the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are on a hot streak entering their matchup Sunday, and with identical 5-3 records, the game could help shape the AFC playoff picture.

The Bills had a bye in Week 9, but are coming off back-to-back wins before that thanks to the strong play of quarterback Kyle Orton and subpar opponents in the Vikings and Jets. After a rough start to the season with EJ Manuel under center, Orton took over and is now 3-1 in four starts for the Bills, boasting a 104 passer rating along with nine touchdowns and three interceptions.

Orton will face a tougher test against the Chiefs, who are on a three-game winning streak and enter with the NFL's top passing defense and second-fewest points allowed. Offensively, Kansas City leans heavily on the run, with Knile Davis and Jamaal Charles combining for 200 carries for 845 yards and nine touchdowns so far this season. Charles has also added 109 yards receiving and two touchdown receptions.

With the Patriots surging in the AFC East and Broncos still on top of the AFC West, both the Chiefs and Bills are currently in the race for wild card spots. With the playoff standings fairly tight, matchups could come down to tiebreakers, making the game on Sunday especially important.
