The Dallas Cowboys are one of the big surprises of the season. Head coach Jason Garrett has been on the hot seat for multiple seasons now, and most figured he wasn't going to make it to this season. But he survived and had one more chance to make something happen. Nine games in, the Cowboys sit at 6-3 with the prospect of another win on the horizon.

That's because they're taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that has only managed a single win in an upset of the Cleveland Browns in Week 7. They've lost their last two games and rank near the bottom of the league in most statistical categories.
But things aren't all good for the Cowboys. Dallas has lost its last two games, including a 20-17 overtime failure against Washington in Week 8 and a 28-17 defeat at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals their last time out. DeMarco Murray is still a monster and has led Dallas to the No. 1 rushing attack in the league, but with some tough games still on the schedule the rest of the team needs to show up.
Outside of the stellar running game, the Cowboys find themselves around the middle of the pack in the other major offensive and defensive categories. There’s nothing remarkable outside of Murray, but it’s been enough for them to beat some tough opponents like the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks. They’ve got the clear advantage over Jacksonville on paper, but then again, so did the Browns.
