The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-7) host the Atlanta Falcons (2-6) on Sunday afternoon in a matchup of two teams searching for their first win in more than a month. The Bucs have dropped their last four games since their only win of the season in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Falcons are riding an even longer losing streak, with five straight losses after starting the season 2-1. Their last win came in their first matchup of the season with the Bucs, a 56-14 blowout in Week 3.

The Buccaneers have made yet another change at starting quarterback, benching 2013 third round pick Mike Glennon in favor of the veteran Josh McCown this week. Glennon had started the last five games in place of McCown, who was tabbed as the team's starting quarterback to begin the season but injured his hand in the Week 3 loss to the Falcons.

Glennon did lead the team to its only victory in his first start, but has mostly struggled this season. He ranks 25th out of 33 qualifying quarterbacks in passer rating (83.3) and 31st in completion percentage (57.6 percent), and is averaging under 7 yards per attempt. The 35-year-old McCown signed a two-year deal with the Bucs this spring, and had completed 63 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and four interceptions during the team’s 0-3 start.

The Falcons don't have a quarterback controversy with Matt Ryan entrenched as the starter, but coach Mike Smith could be on the hot seat with Atlanta on track for another dismal season. The team is 6-18 since the start of 2013 and is slated to miss the playoffs for a second straight year. The Falcons are also coming off a historic collapse after blowing a 21-0 halftime lead against the Detroit Lions in Week 8, matching the largest blown lead in franchise history.

Closing out games has been a big problem for the team, which has been outscored 70-7 in the fourth quarter of its last six contests. This game is a must-win for the Falcons if they want to make a late playoff push. They are only two games back of the New Orleans Saints in NFC South, but face the division's toughest remaining schedule.
