Broncos vs. Raiders 2014: Online streaming, time, TV schedule and radio

Denver tries to bounce back after a tough defeat in New England, while Oakland simply wants a win.

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos represent the penthouse of the NFL, with Peyton Manning throwing to a cavalcade of stars and a defense highlighted by Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware. The Oakland Raiders represent the dingy basement, promising another lousy season for their beleaguered fan base.

Denver is 6-2 and, despite falling 43-21 to the New England Patriots last week, are closing in on a fourth consecutive playoff berth. The Broncos are leading the tough AFC West by a game over the resurgent Kansas City Chiefs and have a nice stretch ahead of them. They will be playing the Raiders, Rams and Dolphins before a rematch with Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday Night Football.

Manning is having another superb season, throwing for 2,572 yards and 24 touchdowns against five interceptions. Demaryius Thomas has been his most dangerous target, hauling in 54 passes for 894 yards and six scores. Newcomer Emmanuel Sanders and Julius Thomas have also stood out, combining for over 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Oakland sits at the bottom of the entire league at 0-8, the only team without a win. The Raiders are also the only outfit which has endured two head coaches this season, with Tony Sparano taking over for Dennis Allen four games into the campaign. Under Sparano, the Raiders have been close to victory a few times, even playing to a 30-24 defeat against the Seahawks in Seattle last Sunday. Yet, Oakland will miss the postseason again, not having made it since its Super Bowl run in 2002.
