Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Chicago Bears head coach Mike Ditka thinks there are a lot of things wrong with the Chicago Bears after the team lost four of its last five games prior to a Week 9 bye. However, Ditka doesn't think for a second that Bears head coach Marc Trestman has lost the team in the locker room.
Mike Ditka thinks it’s ‘bulls**t’ that Marc Trestman has lost the Bears locker room
Hall of Fame head coach Mike Ditka thinks there are problems with the Chicago Bears, but doesn’t believe Marc Trestman is one of them.

Ditka, who has never been one to hold back his thoughts, called reports of Trestman’s loss of control “bullshit” in a column for the Chicago Sun Times on Tuesday:
That’s a lot of bullshit! Players play, coaches coach. They’re not playing very good right now. Take a look at their defense. It’s really not hard to figure this out, guys. You can blame anyone you want. You can blame me if you want. But the defense is not playing well. They’re forcing the offense to do too much. So, I think all this talk is a lot of bullshit! You can run all those words, too.
Trestman was hired by the Bears in 2013 after a successful run as the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League and previous stints as an offensive coordinator for football teams in the NFL. He was considered to be an offensive-minded guru and through the first eight games of the season, the Bears rank 13th in the NFL in total offense.
But as mentioned by Ditka, the defense is not playing well at all for the Bears, as the team allowed an average of 36.8 points in its last four losses before the bye week and is in the bottom five of the NFL in points allowed. During the downward slide for the Bears, there have been reports of discord in the locker room, including a blow-up from wide receiver Brandon Marshall, although Trestman has denied those reports.
