Titans vs. Jaguars 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

This primetime matchup of 2-12 teams may not have playoff implications, but it will go a long way towards deciding the race for the No. 1 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

The real winner of this week's Thursday Night Football matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars might actually be the loser of the game, as both teams enter with identical 2-12 records and are firmly in the chase for the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

The Titans and Jaguars are two of four teams that enter Week 16 with exactly two wins (joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders), and getting a third win will almost certainly drop that team out of the hunt for last place in the NFL standings. Tennessee currently has a 30.6 percent chance of earning the first overall pick, according to Football Outsiders, while Jacksonville's odds are at 13.4 percent.

The Titans won the first matchup between these AFC South rivals in Week 6, but that is the last time that Tennessee has celebrated a victory this season. Ken Whisenhunt’s team is riding an eight-game losing streak, matching the team’s longest skid since it moved to Nashville in 1997. The Titans struggle to even keep games competitive, with five of those eight losses coming by at least two touchdowns.

The Jaguars are actually favored to win this game, putting them in a very unfamiliar position. It is the first time they’re giving points since a Sept. 2012 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, snapping a streak of 42 straight games as an underdog. Jacksonville has shown some promise on defense recently, but has really struggled on the other side of the ball, scoring just two offensive touchdowns in four games since its bye week.
