The struggling rushing offense of the Arizona Cardinals will be hamstrung further, as the team will be without Andre Ellington for a Week 14 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports.

The Cardinals will have to rely on Stepfan Taylor, Marion Grice and Michael Bush at running back.

No team in the NFL averages fewer yards per rush than the Cardinals at 3.1 yards. Ellington, a sixth-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, is the feature back for the offense and has taken 69 percent of the team’s rushing attempts in 2014. His 3.3 yards per carry average is only slightly above the team average and he leads the team in rushing touchdowns with three.
Ellington suffered a hip injury in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons that ended his day prematurely and now the Cardinals will have to work with Stepfan Taylor, Marion Grice and Michael Bush as the team's backfield rotation. Bush was signed by the Cardinals prior to the team's game against the Falcons, but did not receive any carries.
The Chiefs rank 30th in rushing defense, but have only allowed two rushing touchdowns in 2014, the lowest amount in the NFL.
