One of the marquee games of Week 14 takes place on Sunday afternoon when the Philadelphia Eagles (9-3) host the Seattle Seahawks (8-4) in a matchup featuring two of the NFC's best teams. The Eagles and Seahawks battle for playoff position on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.

Seattle's postseason chances looked bleak in the middle of October, when they a 3-3 record into a Week 8 matchup with the Carolina Panthers. After winning five of their last six contests, however, the Seahawks have moved within a game of the NFC West lead and now control their own playoff destiny. If the Seahawks win out -- including a Week 16 matchup with the division-leading Arizona Cardinals -- they will capture their second straight division title. However, they have a difficult road ahead, facing the NFC's toughest remaining slate in the final month of the season.
Philadelphia's playoff outlook also appeared grim last month when it was forced to turn to backup quarterback Mark Sanchez after Nick Foles suffered a fractured collarbone in Week 9. However, Sanchez has thrived in Chip Kelly's fast-paced, QB-friendly offensive scheme, and the Eagles haven't missed a beat with the former USC star under center. The Eagles are 3-1 and averaging more than 35 points per game with Sanchez as the starter, and are in the driver's seat in the NFC East following their 33-10 Turkey Day blowout over the Dallas Cowboys.
