NFL combine 2014: Johnny Manziel opts to throw at pro day
The Texas A&M prospect has decided to not throw at the NFL combine.

Manziel’s decision is not out of the ordinary for most top quarterback prospects, who prefer throwing at pro days where they get to work with their college teammates in a controlled environment rather than throw to unfamiliar players and coaches in Indianapolis. Manziel still plans to attend the Combine and go through all the other drills.
Manziel is leaving college after a two-year career at Texas A&M, where he won a Heisman trophy and led the Aggies to a 20-6 record in that time, including two bowl wins. He's expected to be one of the first quarterbacks off the board in May's NFL Draft. The Cleveland Browns have previously shown interest in drafting Manziel, although it's unclear if their new front office feels the that way..
