Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey is not enjoying his offseason at the moment. The former first round pick is enduring a firestorm of criticism about his role in the team's bullying scandal which was illuminated last week by Ted Wells' report.

The Dolphins center lets us know how he feels about Mr. Wells’ findings.
Pouncey, entering his fourth year in the NFL, does not feel good about what has gone down in South Florida, per the Sun-Sentinel.
“Mike’s distraught over the whole thing,” a source close to Pouncey said. “He views it as a learning opportunity.”
However, his remorse won’t help him at the bargaining table. Pouncey is going into the fourth year of his rookie deal, which has an option for a fifth. Should new Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey decide to decline the option, Pouncey might be looking for employment after next year.
Over at The Phinsider, there are all kinds of opinions on what to do with Pouncey, ranging from wanting him gone to acting as though nothing has happened. James McKinney believes Pouncey may have made some very, very poor decision while speaking to Mr. Wells.
For me, beyond the accusations of bullying the most disturbing part of the Pouncey involvement might be, if the Wells report is to be believed, is the fact that Pouncey either directly lied to or intentionally tried to mislead the investigators.
Meanwhile, the circus surrounding Miami is far from over. The main source of all of it is guard Richie Incognito, who is suspended by the NFL and about to become a free agent on March 11 when the new league year begins. Incognito took to twitter on Monday to express himself, again. Here is the important stuff:
I apologize for acting like a big baby the last few days. This has all been so much on me and my family. I just want to play football
— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 17, 2014 I want everyone to know I'm in good spirits and looking forward to playing again one day
— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 17, 2014 I would like to send Jonathan my apologies as well. Until someone tells me different you are still my brother. No hard feelings :)
— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 18, 2014 There are no winners in the courts. Just families left to deal with their decisions and pick up the pieces. You can't free something
— Richie Incognito (@68INCOGNITO) February 18, 2014 We're all born free
