NFL Combine 2014: Weigh-in results for wide receivers

The wide receivers were among those getting measured up at the scouting combine on Friday, and we’ve got the details.

The NFL Combine isn't quite in full swing, with on-the-field drills and workouts scheduled to begin on Saturday with offensive linemen, kickers and other special teams players. But Friday saw some of the key positions undergo measurements in wide receivers, running backs and quarterbacks.

Breaking down SB Nation's latest mock draft

It seems as though there's a much higher percentage of taller receivers this year. It's typical for receivers to be in the 5'11 range, and of course there are plenty adhering to that this year, but there's a total of 16 receivers who check in at 6'2 or taller, and eight who are 6'4 or taller. Brandon Coleman of Rutgers came out on top at 6'6, though he did not weigh the most at 225 pounds. That was Florida State's Kelvin Benjamin, who is 6'5 and 240 pounds.

These players performed their on-field drills on Sunday. Brandin Cooks had the fastest 40 time out of all wideouts, clocking in a 4.33. Sammy Watkins ran a 4.43, had a 10’6 broad jump and likely solidified his position as the top receiver in this year’s class.

Below are the full results.
