Johnny Manziel ran an impressive 4.56 at the NFL Combine Sunday. Manziel's sprint was fast enough for NFL Network analysts to draw comparisons to Colin Kaepernick's Combine performance.

The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner posted the fastest 40-yard dash by a quarterback, while fellow future-first-rounder Bridgewater decided not to run.

Fresno State's Derek Carr, known primarily as a pocket passer, ran a 4.65-second 40. Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch ran a 4.72-second 40, while Clemson's Tajh Boyd covered the distance in 4.75 seconds. Alabama's A.J. McCarron ran a Tom Brady-like 4.91.

— Paul Pabst (@PaulPabst) February 23, 2014 South Carolina’s Connor Shaw posted the day’s top time with a 4.55-second sprint. Virginia Tech’s Logan Thomas and Miami’s Stephen Morris both posted 4.57-second 40 yard dashes.
Many of the pocket passers declined to run Sunday, including LSU's Zach Mettenberger. Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, who is recovering from a torn ACL suffered in November, also did not participate.
