The Atlanta Falcons had a brutal season in 2013, finishing in last place in the NFC South and earning the No. 6 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Despite having so many struggles, the talent is certainly there with men like Julio Jones, Matt Ryan and Roddy White. On Monday, White said that he wants to spend the rest of his playing days with the Falcons, who drafted him back in 2005, per the Falcons' official site.

“I do want to stay here for the rest of my career,” White said on the Atlanta airwaves. “It’s been really good these nine years.”

White has already put together a stellar career, amassing enough receiving yards and receptions to be the franchise’s all-time leader. He only sits two receiving touchdowns behind Terance Mathis, with 55.

White is currently on a deal with only one year left at $6.3 million. The Falcons will likely try to extend White’s contract this offseason to avoid letting him hit free agency where he would be one of the most sought-after players.

This year, White had 63 catches for 711 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games, the first time he didn’t play a full 16-game season.
