With no power conference schools holding pro days on Monday, there aren't many big-name prospects working out for scouts. The two most schools are Louisiana Tech and South Florida, which feature Justin Ellis and Aaron Lynch, respectively. Eight other schools are also in action: Toledo, Brown, Grand Valley State, Northern Colorado, San Diego, Troy, Urbana and Villanova.
NFL pro days: Smaller schools in the spotlight on Monday
Louisiana Tech’s Justin Ellis and South Florida’s Aaron Lynch highlight a day of smaller profile schools.

We’ll update results and information from the notable prospects as it rolls in on Monday.
Aaron Lynch, Ryne Giddins trying to prove themselves at South Florida
Up to this point, NFL scouts haven’t had a lot to go on concerning, defensive end Aaron Lynch. After transferring from Notre Dame as a sophomore and sitting out for a year, Lynch played just one year with South Florida before declaring for the draft. With only five sacks, it wasn’t an overly impressive year, either. Scouts hoping to get a closer look at the combine were disappointed when he skipped the 40-yard dash or vertical jump.
So teams considering taking the athletic but unproven talent must be relieved to finally be getting a good look at Lynch on Monday.
Aaron Lynch/DE-OLB/South Florida, timed 4.66s and 4.68s in the forty at pro-day this morning....more as it comes in..
— Tony Pauline (@TonyPauline) March 10, 2014 It looks like an injury could continue to limit his exposure, however.
It appears that Aaron Lynch's right hamstring is bugging him after running the 40-yard dash. He sat out a few drills after. #USF
— Corey Bender (@Corey_Bender) March 10, 2014 Another Southern Florida defensive end with something to prove is Ryne Giddens, who had a disappointing career in Tampa after arriving as one of the most highly touted recruits in school history. Injuries and lack of production have him projected as undrafted, but he has the physical tools to draw the interest of teams.
He’s attempting to show those tools on Monday, where he’s put up 25 reps on the bench and had a 30.5” vertical jump.
