Enter Tommy Vigorito of the Miami Dolphins. He was selected in the fifth round of the 1981 draft at running back and played for four years before being released. Vigorito ran for a total of 1,568 yards with is 1,568 yards more than any of us will, but that doesn't mean he had any clue about what the Dolphins should do when interviewed live.
“I think we’re going to go after a defensive lineman.”

“If we don’t get a defensive lineman then we’ll probably go to the defensive secondary.”

The Dolphins ended up taking Dan Marino with the 27th overall pick. Good thing Vigorito wasn’t in charge.
