Florida State was the big stop during the Tuesday edition of the NFL pro day tour, although they were one of just 13 schools scheduled to hold a workout for NFL scouts. While the Seminoles don't have the star power of a top draft prospect at quarterback like Teddy Bridgewater or Johnny Manziel -- at least not in this draft class -- prospects like Timmy Jernigan and Kelvin Benjamin drew scouts to Tallahassee on Tuesday.

The Florida State Pro Day, featuring Timmy Jernigan and Kelvin Benjamin, was the highlight of Tuesday’s stops on the NFL pro day tour.

The 12 other schools holding workouts are California, Montana, Pittsburg State, Delaware, Sam Houston State, Murray State, North Carolina-Charlotte, Old Dominion, Southern Illinois, Tartleton State, UC Davis and William & Mary.

Florida State
More than 70 NFL scouts were in Tallahassee to watch the national champions. Chip Kelly, and Rex and Rob Ryan were among the coaches in attendance, and Kelly seemed to have his eye on the defensive players participating in the Seminoles’ pro day:

Jernigan weighed in at 6’5, 242 pounds with a 33-inch vertical leap.
Kelvin Benjamin
Benjamin sat on his Combine 40 time and benched 17 reps. During the position drills, he showed off the circus catch ability that Seminoles fans (and opposing players) have become so used to seeing:

Linebacker Jordan Tripp is the most notable player in this FCS school, and plenty of NFL teams had scouts on hand to watch him in person:
