Former Florida State running back James Wilder Jr.'s chances of being picked in the upcoming NFL Draft may have just taken a serious hit. The Tampa Bay Times reports that Wilder has been arrested on an outstanding warrant related to a charge of driving with a suspended license.
NFL Draft hopeful James Wilder Jr. arrested
The former Florida State Seminole has been arrested in Tampa on an outstanding warrant.

Wilder, who rushed for 563 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior while helping the Seminoles to a national championship, was arrested on Sunday night and released on $1,000 bail early Monday morning. He was cited in Tampa on March 1 for driving with a suspended license.
NFL teams might have been able to look past this one rather minor violation, but Wilder has a history of run-ins with the law. He has now been cited for license-related violations four times since 2011. He was also arrested in February of 2012 for resisting a police officer without violence. He spent time in jail later that year after violating his resulting probation, an incident in which he showed up to a sheriff’s work camp with alcohol on his breath.
Wilder, whose father remains the all-time leading rusher for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was already on the draft bubble, considered by many to be a seventh-round pick at best. SB Nation ranks him No. 24 out of 32 running back prospects.
