On Wednesday afternoon, the football world shifts its focus to the campus of LSU in beautiful Baton Rouge, La., for one of the most anticipated pro days of the spring. The other pro day on Wednesday is that of Southern University.
Pro Day preview: LSU seizes the afternoon
With so much talent on the field at once, LSU becomes the place to be for NFL scouts.

Latest Mock Draft
LSU boasts a bevy of talent, as usual, but this year it is led by a host of offensive players. Quarterback Zach Mettenberger might be the most intriguing of any participant today, throwing for the first time since tearing a knee ligament during the 2013 season.
Metternberger has a ton of talent, but has been projected anywhere from a late-first to early third-round pick. The quarterback was not able to compete at the NFL Combine or any of the other pre-draft workouts, so this afternoon is massive in terms of proving his health to front offices.
There are plenty of other top talents showcasing their skills today, including the receiver tandem of Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. The latter is widely regarded as a first-round pick, with Landry falling in the end of the first to early-second range. Running back Jeremy Hill has run into off-field trouble, but certainly is a top player at his position.
Everything on the field will get underway at approximately 1:00 p.m. EST, and can be seen on the official LSU sports site.
